Narrative

As Career and Technical Education expands, it is critical that there is a Grant Reporting and Research analyst position, a Job Placement Coordinator and a Marketing and Media Specialist position that are designated to reporting data for the Strong Workforce dollars, tracking student success through employment and completion, and providing specialized marketing for CTE. This has been a struggle for Career Education to effectively market our programs, and to track student completion with employment data and certificate and degree completion. These positions will provide CTE the ability to accurately report the data associated with Strong Workforce metrics, and help to identify new ways to track students from enrollment to employment, and provide effective marketing of CTE programs at RCC. We anticipate increased enrollment, and an increase to employment data; however, we are unable to provide projections for this CTE proposal as they are positions that support the overall strategic plan; therefore, per the Chancellor’s Office, zeros are being entered.
