The Film/Video program will upgrade equipment for Film Production. SWP funds will be used for: AVID, Premier Pro, Pro Tools Licensing; a Davinci resolve and console upgrade; Camera equipment; as well as a generator, LED kits, stingers, and cables. These upgrades will allow for the creation of new certificates in the following areas: Production skills; Cinematography: Camera Operating and Gaffer/Grip; Editing: Picture and Sound, Production Management/AD; Digital Imagining Technician (DIT); Postproduction: Colorist; and Apple Certified Training. These new certificates will give El Camino students new career options, allow for an increase in enrollment, and afford more certificate awards and program completions.

The Administrative of Justice program is currently in the process of coordinating its activities with the other Public Safety programs at El Camino. A new Regional Public Safety Training Center is being developed for the South Bay. To this end, SWP funds will be used to hire a Public Safety Director to coordinate all aspects of the endeavor. In addition, funds will be used to upgrade staff office equipment and student safety equipment for the Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) programs. These investments will improve our programs, eventually results in the addition of new Public Safety program offerings, increase student success, and result in more completers from El Camino.
