Narrative

The continued demand for auto collision repair technicians warrants the need for CE to offer an increase of existing classes as well as expand auto collision expertise for students to become qualified as claims adjuster, examiners, and investigators. Funding will help faculty research the most updated resources by partnering with industry to develop these new course outlines and relevant lesson plans to train students to industry expectations. Outreach to industry partners will also expand industry participants for auto repair advisory committee; outreach to high schools and other entities within our community will help expand our reach to new students for these programs. CE also wants to upgrade lecture tools by obtaining a smartboard system for the classroom that will enhance lectures and powerpoints and student interaction.
